In the Beginning..

Judy Vanderpool began hand tinting her husband's black and white photographs in 1994, shortly after moving from Athens, Georgia to Commerce, Texas. To supply Judy with unique images her husband, Rick, began a voyage across the state of Texas. Covering over 21,000 miles and all 254 counties, these images truly encompass the heart of Texas. Along with hand tinting and exquisite custom framing, Judy manages Prairie Rose Studio located on the Historic Downtown Square in Commerce. Judy takes a special interest in cultivating a personal relationship with clients, new and old.
